MINUTES


Representative Kent Eken, Chair of the Environment Policy and Oversight Committee, called the meeting to order at 7:08 PM, on March 18, 2009, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Representative Drazkowski moved that the minutes from March 17, 2009 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Dill moved the adoption of the Game, Fish & Forestry Division Reports for HF1238. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Dill moved HF1238, 1st Committee Engrossment, be recommended to pass and be referred to the Committee on State and Local Government Operations Reform, Technology and Elections.

HF1238-Dill
Refund provisions modified, definitions modified, publication requirements modified, restrictions in migratory feeding and resting areas modified, local law exemptions provided, wild animal and fish taking, possession, and licensing requirements provided, and certain fees authorized.

Representative Dill moved the H1238A7 amendment.

Representative Dill moved the following oral amendment to the H1238A7 amendment:
On line 2.24 after the semicolon insert "or" and on line 2.28 delete the word "or"
THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Dill moved the following oral amendment to the H1238A7 amendment:
On line 4.23 delete "not armed" and insert "page 10, line 32, delete with a bolt or arrow"
Representative Dill withdrew his oral amendment.

Representative Dill renewed his motion to adopt the H1238A7 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Dill moved the H1238A4 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Dill moved the H1238A6 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Dill moved to amend the language to the previously adopted H1238A7 amendment:
On line 3.22 delete "8" and insert "7"
THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Dill renewed the motion that HF1238, 1st Committee Engrossment, as amended, be recommended to pass to the Committee on State and Local Government Operations Reform, Technology and Elections. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
