MINUTES
Representative Kahn, Chair of the Legacy Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:20 P.M. on April 3, 2013 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Representative Green moved that the minutes of March 20, 2013 and April 2, 2013 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 1183 (Kahn) Omnibus Legacy Bill
Helen Roberts, House Fiscal Analyst, gave an overview of the House Legacy Committee - 2013 Session Tracking: Arts spreadsheet
Mary Mullen, House Research Analyst, gave an overview of the
H1183DE2 amendment.
Chair Kahn moved that the H1183DE2 amendment to HF1183 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Joel Glaser, Executive Director, Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations (AMPERS) explained his concerns with the AMPERS funding in the H1183DE2 amendment.
Lucinda Winter, Executive Director, Minnesota Film and TV, stated that she supported funding for small theaters to convert to digital.
Mark Hughes, Citizen, stated that he supported the AMPERS funding request.
Mike Molzahn, Committee Administrator, explained the committee schedule for the next two weeks.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:35 P.M.
