RELEASE: Scott Sworn-in as State Representative

Wednesday, January 6, 2021

SAINT PAUL, MN – Representative Peggy Scott, R-Andover, was sworn-in to her seventh term in office on Tuesday at the beginning of the 2021 legislative session. Scott continues to represent District 35B which includes Andover and parts of Ramsey and Coon Rapids.

“I am honored to continue serving my neighbors in District 35B,” said Scott. “This is an important moment in our state’s history as we work to defeat the COVID-19 pandemic. I will work tirelessly to ensure our schools and businesses can safely reopen. We must begin to repair the damage to our economy that has been inflicted by Governor Walz’s shutdowns, and restore the legislature as a constitutional co-equal branch of government.”

Scott is an Assistant Minority Leader in the House GOP Caucus. This session she will serve as the minority lead on the Judiciary Finance & Policy Committee, in addition to her work on the Education Policy and Ways and Means Committees.

Constituents can contact Scott at 651-296-4231 or by email at rep.peggy.scott@house.mn. Her office is located on the third floor of the State Office Building in room 335. Mail can be sent to:
