REP. O'DRISCOLL TO RETIRE FROM MINNESOTA HOUSE

Thursday, December 4, 2025

ST. PAUL - Rep. Tim O’Driscoll (R-Sartell) will not be seeking re-election to the Minnesota House of Representatives in 2026.  O’Driscoll is in his 8th term in House and is currently the co-chair of the Minnesota House Commerce Committee.

O’Driscoll was first elected to the House in 2010 and before that he was the mayor and councilmember in Sartell.  He has served in elected office for more than 25 years.

“There is still work to be done in 2026 and I remain committed to working on matters of important to Minnesotans,” O'Driscoll said. "Chief among them, working to put a lid on the fraud that has been allowed to occur in our state government."

O’Driscoll plans to focus on other priorities and will remain an active volunteer in the central Minnesota area. His term will conclude in early January, 2027 when the 2027 legislative session begins.
