ST. PAUL, MN – John Poston (R-Lake Shore) took the oath of office in the Minnesota House of Representatives Tuesday, January 3, 2017 during the swearing-in ceremony at the Capitol.
Poston was elected to his first term in November to represent District 9A, which encompasses Cass, Todd, and Wadena counties. Poston is serving on the Veterans Affairs Division, Education Finance, Capital Investment, Agriculture Policy, and Agriculture Finance committees.
“It has been an honor serving the people of Lake Shore as Mayor,” said Poston. “I look forward to continuing my public service as our State Representative.” Poston continued, “I want to thank the people of District 9A for this amazing opportunity; I will serve you with pride.”
Poston is a small business owner and the former Mayor of Lake Shore.
