2022 Priorities We are less than one month away from the 2022 Legislative Session. This year, I am focused on the issues facing working families in Minnesota. One of the longstanding issues preventing folks from fully joining the workforce is the inaccessibility of affordable childcare. My colleagues and I will be working on addressing this issue by providing childcare provider grants, and working on waitlist reduction. We have an opportunity to make real investments in the infrastructure of our state. I have bills to address the traffic issues at Lake Elmo Ave and HWY 36, and another to fund the restoration of our crumbling Historic Courthouse. Keeping an eye on the future of Minnesota, I have a bill that would assist Oak Park Heights in adapting to changes that will need to happen when the King Plant closes in the future. I'm confident that we can make these investments and more. |
