Monday, December 6, 2021

Saint Paul, Minn. – Fifty new jobs are coming to the Rosemount Business Park as a result of the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development-administered Minnesota Investment Fund (MIF). MIF has awarded Home Depot U.S.A. $375,000 for a new project slated to include a 417,600 square feet office/warehouse building, a 210,400 square feet outdoor storage area and more. State Representative John Huot (DFL-Rosemount), released the following statement:

“This is an exciting development for Rosemount! These investments are critical tools to create good jobs and grow our local economies across the state. All Minnesotans deserve the opportunity to succeed and thrive, and opportunities like MIF help make that a reality for working families.”

The MIF fund is centered on industrial, manufacturing, and technology-related businesses to increase the local and state tax base and improve economic vitality statewide. MIF provides loans of up to $1 million to businesses that create and retain high-quality jobs in these sectors.
