Monday, October 2, 2023

SAINT PAUL, Minn. – On Monday, September 18th, the Minnesota Military and Veterans Museum held a ceremonial groundbreaking on its new site at Camp Ripley in Little Falls, Minnesota. Representative Mary Frances Clardy (DFL-Inver Grove Heights) serves on the Minnesota House Veterans and Military Affairs Committee, which approved the $32 million in state funding to secure the new facility.

“Honoring our veterans is a bipartisan priority when it comes to preserving our state’s history,” said Rep. Clardy. “I appreciated the opportunity to mark this special day surrounded by veterans and current military service members who have sacrificed so much to protect our freedom.”

The new Minnesota Military and Veterans Museum is slated to open to the public in the spring of 2025.
