Capitol Newsletter from Rep. Andrew Myers

Friday, May 19, 2023

Dear Neighbors,

We are in the final week of the 2023 legislative session and agreements are being reached on a variety of budget bills (I use the term “agreements” loosely). With many things still left undecided, I will hold off on summarizing some of these agreements now and will wait until next week to give you a rundown once the dust has settled.

Despite the late nights here in St. Paul, I remain as confident as ever that Minnesota’s best days are ahead of us.

Myers

I appreciate all of your support this year in what has been a fast-paced legislative session. Your messages of encouragement mean the world to me, from both sides of the aisle, and always serve as a great reminder that I am here fighting for you and our community.

Your Voice and Priorities Matter

This week, I am asking you to share with me your priorities and what you would like to see the legislature do to address them.

Priorities may include education, improved access to mental health care, the environment, public safety, taxes, inflation and affordability, health care costs, and more.

My job is made easier when I hear directly from you. So please take 30 seconds to respond to this newsletter and let me know!

Staying in Touch

Keep an eye out for updates in the coming days as the legislative session reaches its conclusion. In the meantime, do not hesitate to reach out to me to share your priorities, questions, or concerns.

I can be reached by phone at 651-296-9188 or via email at rep.andrew.myers@house.mn.gov.

Have a great day,

Andrew
