Dear Neighbors,

The 2024 legislative session is officially underway, and it has been good to be back in St. Paul representing you, your family, and our communities in the state legislature. Together, we can work to address the issues that matter most to you and families in our region.

All of us are struggling with record-high inflation rates. That’s why we need to continue to consider ways we can reduce the financial burden on Minnesota families by providing tax relief and making government more efficient and effective. There’s no doubt that we can make important investments in our schools, infrastructure, health care, and many other areas while still making sure that state government does not continue asking for more and more of your hard-earned dollars.

I am also committed to continue exploring ways to expand responsible mining operations and diversify our local economy. Our region is full of economic opportunities that can benefit families, our communities, the state, and the entire world.
