Legislative Update

Dear friends and neighbors,

I hope you have been enjoying a safe and fun summer so far. I know my family has, with so many community activities and events to attend, there is plenty to keep us busy! I want to pop in with a short update for you and an explanation as to why you won't be hearing from me with these newsletters for a while. Thank you for taking the time to stay engaged, and let me know if you have any questions!

Visiting Central Farm Service

I recently had the opportunity to tour Central Farm Service's Kenyon Agronomy location and meet with members of the farmer-owned cooperative to learn more about the important work they do to support agriculture in our region. We had a great discussion about the opportunities and challenges facing Minnesota farmers, and I appreciated hearing directly from the people who work every day to keep our agricultural economy strong.

Thank you to everyone at Central Farm Service for the warm welcome, the informative tour, and the thoughtful conversation. Building relationships with our local agricultural community and hearing firsthand about the issues impacting farmers helps me better represent our district at the Capitol.

Enjoy the Rest of Your Summer!

As we head into the final weeks of summer and families begin preparing for a new school year, I want to wish everyone a safe, enjoyable, and relaxing season. Whether you're spending time at the lake, attending a county fair, getting kids ready to head back to the classroom, or simply enjoying time with family and friends, I hope you're able to make the most of these beautiful Minnesota days.

With the start of the legislative blackout period, this will be my final newsletter until after the November election. While state law temporarily limits official legislative communications during this time, my work representing our district will continue. I'll remain engaged in our communities, meeting with constituents, visiting local businesses and organizations, and preparing for the next legislative session.

Although you won't be receiving my newsletter for a few months, I'd love to stay connected. The best way to keep up with what I'm doing around the district is by following my official Facebook page, where I'll continue sharing updates, photos from community events, and information on issues impacting our area. Thank you for taking the time to read these newsletters throughout the year. It is truly an honor to serve you, and I look forward to staying connected in other ways until the newsletters return this fall.
