Legislative UpdateDear Friends and Neighbors, Spring has finally decided to show up—and let me tell you, the sunshine and blooming flowers have been a welcome change from our usual rollercoaster weather! There’s just something about those first signs of spring that puts a little extra pep in your step (and makes the coffee taste better too, right?). It’s been a fantastic week back home in the district—reconnecting with folks, hearing what’s on your mind, and soaking in the energy of our incredible community. I’m heading back to the Capitol recharged and ready to roll up my sleeves. There’s still plenty of work to be done, and I’m excited to keep pushing for the commonsense solutions Minnesotans deserve! Let’s finish strong! Springing Into the Final Stretch! Before we dive headfirst into the final weeks of session, I’ve been thoroughly enjoying a much-needed break—and let me tell you, it’s been just what the doctor ordered. I’ve taken advantage of the beautiful spring weather to go on some long runs around the district (don’t worry, I’m staying well below 10 mph—cruise control activated). Between soaking in the blooming scenery and catching up with folks in the community, it’s been a refreshing and energizing week. I’m so grateful for the chance to connect with constituents, breathe in some fresh air, and refuel before we power through the last few weeks of session.     Wishing You a Joyful and Blessed Easter! As we celebrate this Easter season, I want to take a moment to wish you and your loved ones a joyful and blessed holiday. Easter has always been one of my very favorite times of year—not only because it marks the beginning of spring, with flowers blooming and brighter days ahead, but because it is a powerful reminder of hope, renewal, and the ultimate gift of grace. As a Christian, Easter holds deep meaning for me. It's a time to reflect on the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the promise of new life that it brings. In a world that can often feel chaotic or uncertain, the message of Easter reminds us that light overcomes darkness, and love conquers all. I hope this season brings you peace, joy, and time spent with family and friends. Whether you're gathering around the table, heading to church, or simply enjoying a quiet moment in the sunshine—may your heart be filled with gratitude and faith. Happy Easter!
