Memorial Day – May 30th

Throughout the history of the United States of America, generations of valiant souls have fought to protect our nation, keep our families safe, and preserve freedom. From the Revolutionary War to today, our nation is blessed to have the most amazing, selfless soldiers that the world has ever seen.

On this upcoming Memorial Day, we honor the courageous Americans who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our nation. We owe these brave men and women a debt that can never be repaid. They rose to the call of service and gave their lives for their countrymen. These fallen heroes deserve our recognition, our thanks, and much more than we can ever give. Let us use this Memorial Day as an opportunity to honor them.

May God bless our troops, and may God bless the United States of America.

My Farewell Speech

As many of you know, I am retiring from the Minnesota House of Representatives. Serving the people of our district has been one of the greatest honors of my life, and I will always be grateful that you trusted me to be your voice in St. Paul.

This week, retiring legislators were given an opportunity to give one last speech on the floor of the Minnesota House. My speech is below. Once again, thank you for the opportunity to serve.
