RELEASE: Robbins Urges Residents to Apply for Frontline Worker Bonus Pay

Wednesday, June 8, 2022

ST. PAUL, MN— Applications for Minnesota’s Frontline Worker Pay bonuses opened Wednesday, June 8th. Rep. Kristin Robbins (R-Maple Grove) is urging all qualifying workers to apply. Eligible employees will have 45 days to apply, so if you experience difficulty with the website, there is still plenty of time. The portal will remain open until July 22nd and no payments will be issued until all applications are received and verified.

“Minnesota’s nurses, long term care workers, first responders, and other frontline workers risked their lives throughout the COVID-19 pandemic to care for their communities, “ said Robbins. “I encourage all frontline workers to check their eligibility and apply for these funds as a thank you for their service to our state during that unprecedented time.”

Robbins is directing constituents to visit frontlinepay.mn.gov for information regarding eligibility and to apply. She also encourages employers to help notify employees of the opportunity to apply.

Information and resources for both employers and prospective applicants can be found at dli.mn.gov/toolkit.

Eligibility criteria for Frontline Worker Pay was established in a law that was passed earlier this year by the legislature.
