Bobbie Harder Selected for Prestigious Legislative Leadership Program St. Paul, MN – State Representative Bobbie Harder (R-Henderson TWP) has been selected to participate in the 2025 Bowhay Institute for Legislative Leadership Development (BILLD), a respected regional program for promising state legislators. The five-day leadership institute will take place August 22–26 in Madison, Wisconsin, and includes lawmakers from 11 Midwestern states and four Canadian provinces. Participants are chosen through a competitive, nonpartisan selection process. The program is offered through the Council of State Governments’ Midwestern Legislative Conference. “I’m honored to be selected to attend the BILLD program,” said Rep. Harder. “This is a great opportunity to strengthen my leadership skills, collaborate with other legislators, and bring back practical ideas that will help me better serve our communities here in Minnesota.” The BILLD program provides training in areas such as conflict resolution, consensus building, and effective communication. Attendees also take part in policy sessions on key issues like education, health care, and economic development, along with professional development seminars focused on media relations and time management. “This is about growing as a leader and staying focused on the priorities of rural Minnesota,” Harder added. “I look forward to learning from my colleagues across the region and putting those lessons to work for the people of District 17B.” |
