HF 1200 (Wolgamott) State and local jail and prison inmates required to be housed in public owned and operated jails and prisons, and state and counties prohibited from contracting with private prisons.

HF 818 (Feist) Violence prevention project research center funding provided, and money appropriated.

HF 396 (Becker-Finn) Safe storage of firearms and ammunition required, locking device required to be included in each firearm transfer, and criminal penalties imposed.

HF 14 (Pinto) Criminal background checks required for firearm transfers, and grounds modified for disqualification of transferee permit.

HF 15 (Frazier) Law enforcement and family members enabled to petition a court to prohibit people from possessing firearms if they pose a significant danger to themselves or others by possessing a firearm, and money appropriated.

HF 601 (Her) Lost and stolen firearms required to be reported promptly to law enforcement.

AMENDMENT DEADLINE: Feb. 2nd, 10:30 AM, amendment to the amendments due by 4pm, Feb. 2nd. All amendments must be emailed to the Committee Administrator.
