The public safety policy conference committee will convene to review and adopt provisions from SF4760 / HF3990, and policy only provisions from HF1082, via a side-by-side comparison document which is now posted below.

Please submit documents to be posted for committee members by Thursday, May 7th, 2026 at 7:00 PM. Late submissions may not be posted in advance of the hearing or included in prepared materials for committee members.

Document Requirements: One page PDF only documents may be submitted to judiciary@senate.mn by Thursday, May 7 at 7:00 p.m. Documents must be saved as “name, title, organization, page where the language can be found in the side by side, House or Senate side of page, and indicating a pro or con position (example: Sam Person, Director of Policy, Workplace, R12, House side, pro).

Testimony Requests: Limited testimony may be taken. Please email requests to judiciary@senate.mn by Thursday, May 7 at 7 p.m. with your name, organization, title, page where the language can be found in the side by side, House or Senate side of page, and indicating a pro or con position. Testimony is limited. The number of testifiers and length of time permitted is at the discretion of the joint House and Senate chairs. Confirmation of testimony will be sent via email after the elapsed deadline and may include a time allocation based on the volume of requests.
