Starting Line: Helping students understand their loan bottom line

College tuition and student loan debt are burdensome to many who chose to go to college. According to a report published in the Wall Street Journal, the average student who graduated from college in 2016 had over $37,000 in student loan debt.

This week on the Starting Line we sit down with Rep. Erin Murphy (DFL-St. Paul) to talk about HF21, a bill she sponsors that would help prospective students understand the student loan process.
