Five bills will be heard:

HF2066 (Wiener) Electric-assisted bicycle tax rebate repealed, appropriation cancelled, and money transferred.

HF340 (Stier) Crime of fleeing peace officer in motor vehicle modified to add heightened penalty for fleeing in culpably negligent manner, and crime of fleeing in motor vehicle and failing to obey certain traffic laws established.

HF341(Heintzeman) Penalties enhanced and minimum fines established for repeat violations of driving without a valid license.

Bills added to the agenda:
HF566 (Skraba) Provisions for operating all-terrain vehicles on public roads modified.

HF2107(West) Rental motor vehicle license plates established.

REMOVED FROM AGENDA:
Note: This bill is removed from the agenda at the request of the bill author so no action will be taken on this bill today in Transportation Committee.

HF2130 (Kraft) Length of driver's license revocations related to certain offenses, length of time individuals must participate in the ignition interlock program modified, and ignition interlock program participants required to complete a treatment or rehabilitation program before reinstatement of full driving privileges.

overview and initial assessment processes developed and impacts to transportation project development and costs

HF748 (Koznick) Project assessment criteria and mitigation activities for vehicle miles traveled requirements amended, and transportation policy goals and greenhouse gas emission targets modified.

Two bills will be heard plus a MNDOT Presentation

Presentation by Minnesota Department of Transportation on recently released report: Revenue Options for the HUTD (Highway User Tax Distribution) Funding Gap.

HF1167 (Anderson PE) Northern Lights Express passenger rail project expenditures prohibited.

HF1242 (Joy) Commercial transportation provided, commercial driver training assistance program established, and money appropriated.

Note: 4 of these bills are just technical corrections/change bills which could be considered for vehicle bills. These will have no public testimony and limited discussion. These are HF1691, HF1692, HF1693, and HF1695 all authored by Chair Koznick.
One bill has been added to agenda: HF268 (Koznick) Certain limitations on use of interest or investment income from transportation revenue established. HF268 was on agenda for Monday 3/3 but was unable to be heard due to lack of time.

HF202 (Bakeberg) - Scott County; U.S. Highway 169 and Trunk Highway 282 interchange construction funding provided, Shakopee identification sign lighting authorized, and money appropriated.

HF1692 (Koznick) - Minneapolis; portion of an appropriation for the Stone Arch Bridge cancelled.
HF1693 (Koznick) - Technical and clarifying changes related to county state-aid highway fund apportionment made.
HF1695 (Koznick) - Civil Air Patrol funding provided, and money appropriated.
HF1406 (Anderson) - Notice requirements related to salvage vehicle auctions provided, insurers authorized to apply for vehicle title when vehicle is acquired through payment of damages.
HF1290 (Perryman) - Roadside signage for automatic external defibrillators for qualifying locations authorized.
HF1463 (Allen) - Town roads and bridges funding provided, and money appropriated.
HF268 (Koznick) - Certain limitations on use of interest or investment income from transportation revenue established.
